1. The field trip to the Aerospace Corporation was fun and interesting. We got to see the missions control rooms and how they operate space launches. We learned about the reflective material for space telescopes and some robotics. It was a good experience to learn about some of the things they do there and the practical applications of it.
2. The lithium-ion deobirter ignites the battery to create thrust to move the satellite into a position where it can deborbit. The runaway energy from the ignited battery will be enough to move the satellite to effectively deorbit.
3. January 7th, 1785. I have just successfully flown across the English Channel in my air ballon. The flight took 2.5 hours and was exhilarating the whole time. Getting to see the world from above and being able to travel by air fueled my passion for flight even more. It was a groundbreaking experience that I wish everyone around me could experience. It felt like I had total freedom.
